Job Title: Land Acquisition Specialist – Solar Power Plant Projects;
Location: Based in Isfahan, Iran (with regular travel to other provinces);
Job Type: Full-Time;
Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced land acquisition specialist to join our solar energy team, which focuses on acquiring land for solar power plant projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of land acquisition laws, negotiation skills, and familiarity with solar energy project development.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential land parcels suitable for solar power plant development.
- Conduct site assessments, including environmental, regulatory, and technical feasibility studies.
- Negotiate with Land Affairs Organization, communities, and stakeholders to secure land agreements.
- Ensure all land acquisition activities comply with the laws, regulations, and zoning requirements.
- Liaise with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Build trust and maintain strong relationships with the Land Affairs Organization, local communities, and key stakeholders.
- Organize and lead public consultation meetings to address community concerns and ensure transparency in the acquisition process.
- Manage applications for permits, licenses, and other documentation required for solar power plant development.
- Collaborate with the project team to evaluate site-specific constraints, such as soil conditions, flood risks, and shading analysis.
- Support grid interconnection processes by securing land for substations, transmission lines, and access roads.
- Maintain a detailed and accurate database of all land acquisition activities, agreements, and legal documentation.
- Prepare periodic reports summarizing progress, challenges, and opportunities for land acquisition efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in land acquisition, or renewable energy projects (solar-specific experience preferred).
- Deep understanding of solar electricity fundamentals, including photovoltaic systems, grid integration, and energy policies in Iran.
- Familiarity with tools such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) for site mapping and analysis.
- Knowledge of land acquisition laws, environmental regulations, and property registration systems.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel frequently across Iran to manage land acquisition processes.
