Technical & Analytical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of process engineering, fluid mechanics, and pipeline flow dynamics.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational inefficiencies and optimize crude oil processing and logistics.
• Competence in data analysis, performance monitoring, and predictive maintenance techniques.

Leadership & Management Skills:

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams (engineers, logistics personnel, operators, HSE specialists).
• Strong decision-making skills in high-pressure operational environments.
• Strategic mindset for project planning, process optimization, and cost management.

Financial & Budgeting Skills:

• Ability to manage capital expenditures (CAPEX) and operational expenses (OPEX).
• Experience in cost-benefit analysis and financial forecasting for refining and logistics operations.

Communication & Negotiation Skills:

• Strong communication skills for interfacing with government agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in negotiating contracts for crude transportation, refinery inputs, and export logistics.

Requirements;

Problem-Solving & Crisis Management:

• Ability to handle emergency situations such as oil spills, equipment failures, and supply chain disruptions.
• Quick decision-making in pipeline leaks, process upsets, and environmental compliance incidents.

Technical Expertise:

• In-depth knowledge of oil processing, refining technologies, separation processes, and transportation systems (pipelines, tank farms, terminals).

Regulatory Compliance:

• Understanding of industry standards, safety regulations (API, ASTM, OSHA), and environmental policies to ensure legal and sustainable operations.

Operational Efficiency:

• Ability to optimize workflows, reduce operational costs, and improve resource allocation to maximize efficiency.

Project Management:

• Experience in planning, executing, and overseeing projects related to oil processing, infrastructure upgrades, and transportation logistics.

Risk Management:

• Proficiency in identifying and mitigating risks associated with oil storage, handling, and transportation.

Supply Chain & Logistics:

• Strong understanding of scheduling, distribution, and coordination of oil transportation through pipelines, rail, and marine routes.

Financial Acumen:

• Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and analyze financial performance of oil processing and transportation operations.
