Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Intern to join our team. This internship will work under the guidance of senior engineers to support Data Center site electrical design and execution activities.
Responsibilities
-Data Analysis: Assist in collecting and analyzing data center mechanical facility requirements in new projects (e.g., cooling systems, piping, pumps, ventilation systems, fire extinguishing systems, and fuel systems).
-Support Mechanical Design: Help with basic mechanical design calculations and specifications according to reference standards.
-Onsite Supervision: Support site construction supervision based on approved designs and quality standards.
-Reporting: Support the team in creating reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint to summarize project status.
-Learning and Development: Actively learn about DC facility technologies, Data Center mechanical architecture, and optimization methodologies.
Requirements
-Understanding of mechanical system concepts such as cooling systems, pump calculations, pipe sizing, firefighting systems, and ventilation system calculations.
-Understanding of basic principles in mechanical engineering and a high-level understanding of HVAC.
-Proactive Problem-Solving: Offer potential solutions whenever presenting a problem to managers.
-Time Management: Juggle multiple tasks simultaneously without missing project deadlines.
-Foundational knowledge of HVAC and ability to analyze mechanical aspects.
-A strong academic record and a demonstrated interest in mechanical systems through projects, coursework, or certifications is desirable.
-BSc/MSc degree in Mechanical (Fluid & HVAC branch).
