Operations Manager (Forwarder/Shipping)

Job Description

Ocean Golden Line Co., established in 2015, operates in the transport and logistics industry. We are seeking a diligent and experienced operations manager (forwarder/shipping) to oversee our daily operations and ensure excellent customer service in Tehran. The ideal candidate will manage and coordinate logistics activities, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily shipping and forwarding operations.
• Ensure efficient and timely coordination of cargo.
• Manage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
• Monitor and improve operational processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and analyze reports on operational performance.
• Supervise and train operational staff.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• A degree is not as important as knowledge, experience, and work history.
• Having an advanced level of language proficiency.
• Proficiency in OTMS, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• At least 5 years of experience in shipping and forwarding.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Leadership experience in a managerial role.
