Job Description
As an AI product manager specializing in search ranking and pricing, you’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing user experience and revenue generation within a marketplace environment. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around leveraging data-driven insights and machine learning algorithms to enhance search ranking algorithms and pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, marketing, and business development to define the product vision and strategy.
- Identify market trends, competitor strategies, and user feedback to inform product roadmaps and feature prioritization.
Search Ranking Optimization:
- Utilize machine learning techniques to develop and refine search ranking algorithms, ensuring optimal search results for users.
- Conduct A/B tests and analyze user engagement metrics to continuously improve search relevance and ranking algorithms.
- Implement strategies to personalize search results based on user preferences and behaviors.
Pricing Strategy Enhancement:
- Analyze pricing data and market dynamics to optimize pricing strategies for hosts and guests.
- Develop dynamic pricing models leveraging AI and machine learning algorithms to maximize revenue while maintaining competitiveness.
- Monitor pricing performance metrics and iterate pricing strategies based on market conditions and user behavior.
Feature Development and Optimization:
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and oversee the development process.
- Conduct user research and usability studies to identify opportunities for feature enhancements and optimizations.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate advanced analytics and predictive modeling into product features.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of search ranking and pricing strategies.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate product performance and insights to stakeholders.
- Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and iterate on product features and strategies accordingly.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on product development, performance, and roadmap.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new features and product enhancements.
- Solicit feedback from internal and external stakeholders to continuously refine product strategies and roadmap.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, or related fields.
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in a technology-driven environment with a focus on AI, machine learning, or data analytics.
- Strong understanding of search ranking algorithms, pricing strategies, and marketplace dynamics.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with experience using tools such as SQL, Python, etc
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and drive product development from concept to launch.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex business challenges.
