Job Description

The objective of the role:

The project planning and control manager defines and directs planning, scheduling, and control processes of industrial telecommunication projects to ensure adherence to the project schedule and budget. They are responsible for creating the necessary efficiency and productivity in all phases of the project, from analysis and planning to implementation and monitoring the progress of the project.

List of Responsibilities:

  • Determining the software for preparing WBS, project schedule, cash flow, and project reports.
  • Determining project work breakdown structure (WBS) and CBS criteria.
  • Cooperation and supervision in defining the structure of the project's work and activities.
  • Planning and scheduling of the project in its different phases (Project Schedule).
  • Weighting of project activities (Weight Factor).
  • Determining the format of daily, weekly, and monthly project control reports.
  • Ensuring the preparation of project progress reports.
  • Controlling, tracking, and monitoring the progress of project activities.
  • Controlling project costs.
  • Preparing management reports.
  • Participating in project status review meetings with the project manager, client, etc.
  • Conducting internal meetings to review project status with project managers and managers of related departments.
  • Supervising the archive of project planning and control documents.

 

  • Reporting to: Managing Director.
  • Subordinates: project planning and control expert.
  • Length of probation period: 3 Months.
  • Working hours: Saturday ~ Tuesday 8 am - 5 pm, Wednesday 8 am - 4 pm.
  • Travel requirements: occasional travel within the country.
  • Commission, bonus, and benefits: breakfast, lunch, supplementary insurance, seasonal gift bin, bonus.

Requirements:

University Qualifications:
At least a BSc in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, or other related fields (graduates of top governmental universities, such as Tehran University, Sharif University, AmirKabir University, Shahid Beheshti University, etc. are given priority).

Work Experience:

  • At least 7 years of experience in planning and controlling industrial projects
  • Management and supervision experience

Specialist Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in project control and management software (Primavera, and MS Project) (Advanced).
  • (*Familiarity with PowerBI considered an advantage).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with the structure of industrial projects (familiarity with Telecommunication projects is considered an advantage).
  • Familiarity with project management standards such as PMBOK.
  • Good in English (Intermediate).
