Quality Assurance and Food Safety Expert

Job Description

Mission:

• Under the direction of the quality assurance manager, create and maintain high-quality standards in all aspects of daily tasks.
• Drive the development and continuous improvement of quality standards, processes, and procedures, to support the sustainable and profitable growth of our business and to follow internal legal and Puratos Group quality standards and policies.

Job Description:

• Execute and follow up QA-related topics towards customers, suppliers, food inspection and auditing bodies, and some related topics about Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, and finished products.
• Contribute to the optimization of operational procedures.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and food quality incidents promptly utilizing root-cause analysis and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct internal audits and other verification activities and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist with the development and delivery of food safety and quality training for manufacturing and support teams based on legal requirements (refresh training, newcomers, etc.).
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the HACC, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, food safety certificate, and integration of that.
• Work closely with a pest control service provider to prevent and control any pest activity.
• Participate and act as an active member in the change management process.
• Provide timely input to the team.
• Report results frequently (based on internal requirements).
• Influence all relevant departments (production, engineering, planning/supply chain, maintenance, quality, HR, R&D, sales) to align all on putting food safety and quality as the most important focus area.
