Responsible for the sales of bulk Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and Excipients including the existing portfolio and product line extensions.
Sell existing customers’ product portfolios.
Track market intelligence via attending related trade shows, industry news, etc. to identify new opportunities.
Analyze new opportunities under market conditions and prepare market studies accordingly.
Establish and maintain relationships with potential clients. Identifying and targeting appropriate leads employing both cold calling and networking techniques.
Report the status of business activities, issues, and timelines to line management.
Follow up with payments and accounts receivables.
Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations.
Define and develop proposal content, and implement agreed-on sales strategies for converting opportunities to 'safe' orders.
Develop new sales opportunities by cooperating with Business Development Manager.
Ensure the Group's sales and marketing information system is routinely updated --especially in relation to customer visits, quoting, sampling, forecasting, and similar information. Assist with the production of other sales team reports.
Ensure customer satisfaction based on timely delivery of existing APIs, and other related technical and regulatory documents. Lead the effort to support all commercial issues -- timely placement of forecast, PO, price adjustment, etc.
Maintain and increase sales of the account's current portfolios.
Develop strong relationships and contacts in the pharmaceutical market providing an entry for expansion of product line extensions and additional opportunities in the market.
Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, promote the sales of the company, and provide sales support.
Handle market research, maintaining and updating product and competition knowledge by studying and reviewing market data.
Monitor competitions, sales, and marketing activities and identify market gaps and potentials.
Perform commercial paperwork and correspondence.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharma, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Business.
At least five years of experience in a similar position.
Well-organized and detail-oriented personality.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
