Senior Data Analyst

Job Description

Here at the Rooberah Insights Team, we are looking for a “senior data analyst” who is passionate about data analysis and managing data-based decision-making. Our top candidate is self-driven, creative, and possesses strong critical thinking skills. You will have to work with various distributed types of data and databases, so a foundational understanding of data structures and relational databases is required. Furthermore, having business knowledge is beneficial since it aids in interpreting the reports and insights that you provide.

Responsibilities:

• Help us define and develop data pipelines for analytical databases
• Be a strategic partner for Senior Leadership: driving end-to-end high-complexity analysis on a strategic level in which the business domain is critical to drive overall company success.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and data requirements
• Design data monitoring dashboards
• Gather data and prepare meaningful reports for decision-makers
• Report the results back to the relevant members of the Project.
• Proactively explore data to develop actionable recommendations and provide new metrics.

Requirements:

• Communication skills and ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis.
• Familiar with main business KPIs.
• Able to use Python for collecting, manipulating, analyzing, and visualizing data.
• Familiarity with Python Data libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and seaborn.
• Experience in data models and reporting packages.
• Familiar with Metabase, BigQuery, and Airflow.
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
