Job Description
As a senior payroll specialist at Alibaba Travels Co., you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the payroll and administrative aspects of the human resources function.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, including the calculation of wages, overtime, deductions, bonuses, and benefits.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, typically every month, and make payroll adjustments and corrections as needed.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and labor laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports, including forms and other necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Manage and maintain payroll systems, including updates and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with IT and HRIS teams to implement and test system upgrades or changes.
- Act as the point of contact for payroll-related questions from employees and management.
- Resolve payroll disputes and respond to queries regarding payroll policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline payroll processes.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure team compliance.
- Help in implementing HR administrative processes and procedures.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned by HR management.
