Job Description

Key Responsibility:

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap, develop product strategy based on the prevalent state of eCommerce business, and create product roadmaps.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Work closely with developers’ teams to deliver quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
  • Run trials and MVPs, develop and deliver go-to-market launch plans.
  • Drive product launches including working with the public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies to increase sales of certain products or brands.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies to maximize profit margins while maintaining competitive rates in the marketplace.
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding, and collaborate regularly with the product team to develop and introduce new site features as needed.
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.
  • Conduct extensive market research and create realistic user stories for service optimization.
  • Create a high level of website and mobile app functionality, and deliver the optimal user experience.
  • Assist business developers in analyzing all the business requirements and coordinate efforts to increase business.
  • Manage the relationship with suppliers to ensure that they are able to meet demand and provide high-quality products.
  • Analyze data to determine the impact of marketing campaigns on product performance to improve future efforts.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in product management (Iran’s Big Startups are preferred).
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
