About the department:

The LMT site is in Barkat Pharmaceutical Industrial City, Alborz Province and went into operation in 2020, and has 160 employees in total. The manufacturing site handles the assembly and packaging production of Novo Nordisk’s FlexPen® sold in Iran with modern insulin (NovoRapid®, NovoMix®30, Levemir®) and Victoza®.

You will join the Business Support Department at Novo Nordisk’s LMT site in Iran. Our department is dedicated to managing projects and programs related to general business requirements and specialized areas. We focus on planning, organizing, and controlling resources and processes to achieve project objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. Our team is dynamic and collaborative, working together to ensure successful project outcomes and continuous improvement in supply chain processes.

The position:

As supply chain associate manager, you will be leading a team of people encompassing all areas of supply chain management such as planning and logistics operations.
Other duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Define characteristics and requirements for systems, organization, and personnel, and establish and maintain resource plans and daily work plans.
• Set goals for the Logistics and Planning team, plan and coordinate training activities, and lead the organization with high integrity.
• Actively participate in the Business Support management team, contribute to the development of the entire organization, and ensure effective execution and follow-up on production planning processes.
• Coordinate production planning, ensure effective order handling, and maintain and update Supply Chain agreements.
• Manage the Manufacturing Resource Planning System (PRISM) Novo Nordisk Time Zone Web (NNTZW), System Application and Products (SAP), and other stock-taking systems, ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), production sanitary, and fire-safety regulations, and contribute to budget activities for a healthy and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• 5 years of extensive experience in supply chain management in a team lead role.
• Advanced computer skills, SAP, or knowledge of other IRAN local ERP systems.
• Knowledge of relevant pharmaceutical regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment and cross-culture interaction and Excellent English Ability Skills (both written and spoken).
• Experience/knowledge in warehouse operations is an added advantage.
