Job Description
Operation Planning:
- Prepare and monitor periodic production schedules.
- Plan production commitments and timetables for business units using a Master Production Schedule (MPS).
- Manage demand aspects in the production of new products to ensure timely market delivery.
Supply Planning:
- Generate Material Requirement Plans (MRP) to set purchase orders and meet target goals.
- Prepare and manage rolling MRP, MPS, and demand using DDAC and the Planning Unit Information System to prevent unforeseen disruptions.
Demand Planning:
- Conduct and participate in demand review meetings, ensuring active participation from the sales team in preparing forecasts based on GPS.
- Review forecast accuracy, bias, and assess the impact on service and inventory Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO).
Planning Management & Reporting:
- Engage fully and delegate responsibilities to Planning Supervisors.
- Collect relevant statistical data and generate reports, KPIs, RCA data, and perform planning risk analysis within supply constraints. This includes examining documents, materials, or products and monitoring work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
- Prepare and facilitate operations and supply review meetings, cooperating with Manufacturing and C&P managers.
