The training specialist will create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development programs for employees.
Responsibilities:
Assesses training needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives- It is necessary to be familiar with the methods of TNA
Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees.
Develops unique training programs to fulfill managers specific needs to maintain or improve skills.
Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussions, lectures, simulations, and videos.
Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
Assesses training materials prepared by instructors.
Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
Prepares and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of expenses.
Requirements
At least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Training Management, or a related field.
At least three years of training or learning experience required
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage conflict.
Adept with a variety of learning platforms (LMS).
Ability to write a PDP or IDP.
Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
Ability to design and implement effective learning.
Familiar with training standards: ISO10015-ISO29993.
Proficient in measuring the effectiveness of the training course.
Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office and related program software.
