About the department:

The executive assistant for the general manager will work under the General Management Department of Novo Nordisk Affiliate which is strategically located in Tehran, Iran.

The position:

As an executive assistant for the general manager at Novo Nordisk Iran - Tehran, the role involves handling a variety of administrative and operational tasks to facilitate the efficient functioning of the executive's office support all departments across the affiliate, and provide vital support to the management team and ensures smooth commercial operations within the organization. The successful candidate will provide pro-active support, as directed by Iran VP & GM, to deliver on projects and analyses across various business subjects to improve performance and support decision-making.

Other duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Provide comprehensive support to the management team, handle schedules, meetings, and communications, and coordinate team activities and responsibilities.
  • Ensure functional understanding of the whole business plan and business purpose and identify activities within functional areas to enable integration of all business activity within all departments.
  • Analysis in the areas of sales, marketing, finance, PAPA and other areas (e.g. Sales/Marketing Effectiveness, Spending Effectiveness, external stakeholder relations, etc.)
  • Review business plans, and launch plans as well as stay up to date with Iran's performance and strategy.
  • Prepare and present the documents/presentations for internal and external meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Psychology, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience within finance or sales and marketing, preferably within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in creating presentation slides and using office software tools.
  • Full working proficiency in both oral and written English is essential.
