About the department:

The LMT site is located in Barkat Pharmaceutical Industrial City, Alborz Province and went into operation in 2020 and has 160 employees in total. The manufacturing site handles the assembly and packaging production of Novo Nordisk’s FlexPen® sold in Iran with modern insulin (NovoRapid®, NovoMix®30, Levemir®) and Victoza®.

The Production Department at Novo Nordisk Pars Iran, LMT site, is responsible for optimizing resource use, minimizing costs, and maintaining quality standards in a manufacturing environment. Our team plans, manages, and reviews production operations to achieve output and quality objectives. We operate, monitor, and maintain machines and production equipment, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Our dynamic and collaborative atmosphere fosters innovation and continuous improvement.

The position:

As an assembly validation engineer, you will mainly be responsible for maintaining the assembly and packaging lines in a technically good condition and validated state. Other duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Ensure compliance with Novo Nordisk Validation Strategy, SOPs, and principles, managing change control and participating in inspections and audits.
  • Act as an equipment expert, providing expertise to frame product documents and ensuring the link to validation documentation.
  • Prepare, review, comment, and approve validation documentation, and assist in planning and executing validation and qualification test activities, including Performance Qualification (PQ).
  • Write SOPs and optimize PM schedules, contributing to solving critical compliance and validation issues and training and developing team leaders, technicians, and operators.
  • Review logbooks, actively participating in the management group within LMT to achieve joint objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in fields (Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical) or relevant courses in Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, and Materials.
  • At least 5 years of industrial experience in maintaining production equipment compliant with GMP environment requirements.
  • Self-motivated, working independently, and being a dedicated team player focused on results, possessing an open mindset for a dynamic organization, and effectively managing change.
  • Demonstrates proactive and visible leadership, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to establish cross-organizational collaboration.
  • Emphasizes proactive stakeholder management at all levels and fluency in both written and oral English.
