Job Description:

As a business development manager at Parsol Solar, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and pursuing new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence and achieve strategic growth objectives. Leveraging your effective marketing experience, this role will involve targeted market research, quality lead generation, building strategic partnerships, and contributing to marketing and sales strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis, with a focus on identifying attractive segments and marketing potential within the solar energy sector in Iran (and potentially beyond).
  • Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns to generate high-quality leads and increase brand awareness for Parsol Solar.
  • Generate new leads and build a robust pipeline of potential clients and projects through various methods, including content marketing, digital marketing, networking, and industry events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers,1 utilizing relationship marketing approaches.
  • Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships, collaborations, and joint ventures to expand Parsol Solar's reach and offerings, considering marketing synergies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners, applying marketing and sales principles.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and technical teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements and provide supporting marketing content.
  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of the company's overall business development strategy, providing marketing insights.
  • Track and report on business development activities, progress, and outcomes, and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in the solar energy sector, and identify new marketing opportunities.
  • Represent Parsol Solar at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, with a marketing and branding focus.
  • Potentially manage and oversee specific business development projects and marketing campaigns from initiation to completion.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, and specifically, proven effective marketing, preferably within the energy sector or a technology-driven industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Iranian market and business landscape, and modern marketing principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and content & digital marketing skills.
  • Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities through creative marketing approaches.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and successful marketing campaign execution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a cohesive marketing perspective.
  • Proactive and results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve marketing and business development goals.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, digital marketing tools, and web analytics.
  • Proficiency in English is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the solar energy industry is a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Iran (and potentially internationally) as required.
