The compensation and benefits specialist coordinates and executes the employee compensation and benefits programs.
Responsibilities
Time sheet and payroll calculations.
Assist in preparing and maintaining personnel records.
Develop and administer compensation programs, such as merit or incentive pay.
Evaluate job positions, determining job classifications and grading.
Prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales.
Develop, implement, administer, and evaluate personnel and labor relations programs, including performance appraisal, affirmative action, and employment equity programs.
Provide advice on the resolution of classification and salary complaints.
Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers, and mediate labor disputes and grievances.
Research job and worker requirements, structural and functional relationships among jobs and occupations, and occupational trends.
Prepare reports, such as organization and flow charts and career path reports, to summarize job analysis and evaluation and compensation analysis information.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, Industrial Engineering, or other related fields.; having a Master's degree, or an MBA degree is a plus.
Upper intermediate knowledge of English.
Experience:
At least 4 years of experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and compensation.
Strong skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
