Position Overview:

As the e-commerce manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of our online sales strategies. This role requires a strategic thinker and passionate doer with a hands-on approach to managing our ecommerce platforms, enhancing user experience, driving traffic, and increasing conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive ecommerce strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Manage and optimize our ecommerce website(s) and other online sales channels.
  • Oversee product listings, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to plan and implement marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, etc.).
  • Analyze and report on e-commerce performance metrics (traffic, conversion rates, sales, etc.) and use data-driven insights to optimize the customer journey.
  • Hire and Lead a team of e-commerce specialists, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, customer service, and IT to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in e-commerce management or related fields, preferably in the beauty industry.
  • Proven track record of increasing online sales and optimizing user experience.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (preferably WooCommerce) and digital marketing tools.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, etc.).
  • Familiarity with PHP, JavaScript, or Java is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
