POSITION SUMMARY

The HR services intern is assigned to the role of an entry-level HR person. Although she/he will be assigned to two or three developmental projects with defined goals and timelines. This is a valuable opportunity to gain practical skills, network with professionals, and explore different aspects of the field. However, to make the most of your experience, you need to be proactive, reflective, and adaptable.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

Main Projects:

  • Update/organize employee personnel document and their dependents and sort them in proper format.
  • Digitalize employees’ personnel folders.
  • Clean update and archive PPRs (probationary reviews).
  • Clean and organize employee's sports and English class history.
  • Review HR existing surveys and prepare an analysis.

Key Outputs:

  • Help the HRS staff in updating and drafting the company’s HR policies.
  • Work in co-op with human resources coordinators to complete annual HR duties.
  • Help in organizing company events and corporate activities.
  • Provide administrative support to HR business partners and managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HRM or studying toward a degree in Human Resources Management, or related fields.
  • At least one year of experience working in an office environment.
  • Basic understanding of labor laws.
  • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
