Job Description

The HR supervisor is responsible for overseeing the full employee lifecycle and implementing HR policies and practices tailored to the unique needs of the e-commerce business. This role serves as a strategic partner to department heads and a trusted advisor to employees, ensuring compliance, supporting employee relations, and driving organizational efficiency through data-driven HR initiatives.

Roles:

  • Act as a strategic business partner to department heads and HRBP.Manage the recruitment, onboarding, training, and offboarding of employees across the OPS department.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and best practices to align with evolving business needs and industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies related to HR.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations, performance management, and other people-related matters.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, address issues, and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with HRBP & Line Manager to understand staffing needs and align HR strategies accordingly.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Implement employee engagement and retention initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
  • Organize team-building activities, social events, and wellness initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the HR Manager and contribute to the overall HR vision and strategy.

Key Results Areas

  • Candidate satisfaction with the recruitment process.
  • Percentage of successful hires (i.e., hires that remain with the company for at least 1 year).
  • Employee engagement survey scores.Employee turnover rate (voluntary and involuntary).
  • Accuracy and timeliness of HR data and reporting.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to handle the dynamic nature of e-commerce operations.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of HR principles, practices, and applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with workforce planning.

Others:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in an e-commerce or fast-paced retail environment.
