Mechanical Supervisor

Job Description

• Controls Mechanical equipment (pipelines, process piping, surface pumping equipment, compressor equipment, pressure vessels at application level, safety devices, liquid storage tanks, instrumentation, automation, fire and gas protection systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, water-heating and steam boilers and heating furnaces in basic level, and lifting equipment).
• Ensures that the field operates and complies with HSE rules and regulations of IRI as well as the ZNV/KNGP HSE IMS.
• Organization and control of repair and installation operations (welding at application level, equipment installation, process equipment shutdown operations) withdrawal for repair)
• Controls and ensures timely order of necessary reagents, equipment, spare parts, transportation, and other necessary materials for work and issuing appropriate WSR.
• Organization of equipment maintenance (Management of industrial facility maintenance activities using CMMS, execution of maintenance operations at an industrial facility).
• Ensures smooth execution of production plans, and takes preventive measures to avoid and eliminate violations in the production process.
• Structural materials/materials science (corrosion control and prevention for oilfield equipment, methods of non-destructive tests, and evaluation of technical conditions of equipment).
• Participates in the commissioning of work performed by contractors, service organizations, and personnel of the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and technical devices.
• Prepares maintenance and repair schedules, plans, and procedures.
• Prepares spare parts and consumables list.
• Provides audits and inspections including leadership safety audits.
• Prepares and provides statistical, managerial, and other required reports.
