Job Description

You will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and efficient production planning. You will lead a team of specialists, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure production processes, systems, and documentation remain inspection-ready and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Your new role
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Lead and develop the Production Back Office team, ensuring high performance, engagement, capability development, and effective support to manufacturing operations.
• Drive GMP compliance and inspection readiness, maintaining a culture of quality, data integrity, and continuous audit preparedness across production activities.
• Ensure maintenance of the validated state for production processes, equipment, and computerized systems, in line with regulatory and company requirements.
• Own production documentation and governance processes, including SOPs, Work Instructions, Training Records, and Production Master Records.
• Manage production planning and capacity optimization, collaborating with production leadership to ensure efficient resource utilization and timely product release.
• Lead operational improvement initiatives and project portfolio management, overseeing change requests (CRs), implementation projects, and continuous improvement activities using Lean methodologies.
• Monitor and improve operational performance, taking accountability for quality, compliance, EHS, audit outcomes, and key performance indicators within the department.

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, Engineering or Management
• 3+ years of GMP academic experience including being part of a production unit leadership team in a GMP environment (pharma, food or cosmetics)
• Fluent in English written and oral
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills within a complex and international organization.
• Proactive, change-oriented, and continuous improvement mindset with strong focus on process optimization and operational excellence.
