Job Description
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress effectively.
- Monitor and report project performance using appropriate tools, systems, and techniques.
- Identify project risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and follow up on technical discussions with clients regarding compressor package design, manufacturing, and testing during project execution.
- Support engineering and procurement teams by aligning project timelines with technical deliverables.
- Monitor the commercial status of the project, including tracking milestones linked to payment terms.
- Proactively follow up with clients to ensure timely invoicing and collection of payments.
- Prepare and submit regular internal project reports to the relevant project or department manager.
- Keep clients continuously updated on project status by providing regular progress and technical reports.
Requirements:
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of compressor packages and basic knowledge of their design, manufacturing, and testing processes. Candidates with hands-on experience in this field will be preferred.
Software Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Excel (including S-Curve analysis and WBS-level management). Experience in project planning is essential.
Language Proficiency:
- Excellent command of English, with strong skills in technical writing and verbal communication.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong independent thinking ability with clear articulation of ideas. Must be proactive, collaborative, and capable of engaging effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Project Administrator in industrial projects within the Oil & Gas sector. Prior experience working with compressor packages is highly preferred.
Commercial Awareness:
- Familiarity with project commercial workflows and payment terms. Ability to track payment milestones and follow up with clients for the timely settlement of invoices.
Reporting & Client Communication:
- Capable of preparing clear and concise reports for both internal management and clients, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
