Job Description

The senior talent and leadership specialists are responsible for the identification, development, implementation, and evaluation of solutions and tools that help individuals grow in alignment with organizational goals and strategies. Also, this person helps with the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of processes related to talent and leadership development.

Role Description:

  • Design and implement skill gap analysis.
  • Design, plan, and implement various training programs, including workshops, seminars, and e-learning courses.
  • Evaluate the success of development solutions, tools, and processes and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
  • Collect, maintain, and analyze talent and leadership development data (e.g. training activities, attendance, training satisfaction and effectiveness, results of tests and assessments, etc.).
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees.
  • Help line managers and trainers solve specific training problems.
  • Keep up-to-date with developments in HR, learning, and development fields.
  • Implement talent management and succession planning programs to help with business excellence and continuity.
  • Develop policies and documents necessary for talent & leadership development.
  • Manage relationships with development vendors, including selection, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
  • Assist in the job promotion process by assessing the leadership skills of candidates, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and leadership competencies.
  • Adjust quickly to changing priorities and maintain composure in challenging situations.
  • Generate new ideas and approaches to training and development.
  • Interpret and leverage data effectively to inform decisions and strategies.
  • Engage with stakeholders effectively to align training strategies with business objectives and ensure stakeholder buy-in.

  • Knowledge of key learning and development field concepts and methodologies functions and processes.
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS): Proficiency in using LMS to create, track, and manage training initiatives.
  • E-Learning Development Tools: Skilled in using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar for developing interactive e-learning content.
  • Data Analysis Software: Ability to use data analysis tools to measure training effectiveness and make informed decisions.
  • Project Management Software: Familiarity with project management tools to oversee training projects from conception to completion.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for creating training materials and reports.
  • Webinar Platforms: Experience in hosting webinars using platforms like Skyroom and Microsoft Teams.

Minimum Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Training and Development, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
