Job Description

ApplyBuddy is looking for a dynamic and organized social media and content manager to oversee the company’s social media presence, content strategy, and designer team. This role combines managing social media platforms, creating high-quality written content, and leading the in-house designer team to produce engaging visual assets. The ideal candidate will develop and implement social media strategies, manage content calendars, and ensure that the design team’s tasks are completed on time and aligned with the brand’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage ApplyBuddy’s social media strategy across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.).
  • Create and curate engaging written content for social media channels, blogs, websites, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Prepare and manage comprehensive content and social media calendars to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.
  • Manage the in-house designer team by assigning tasks, maintaining their to-do list, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with the design team to produce high-quality visual content, including graphics, videos, and infographics.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns aligned with company goals and strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of social media platforms and content using analytics tools, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Manage and respond to social media interactions and comments in a professional manner to enhance engagement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor strategies, and the latest social media tools and best practices.
  • Work closely with the marketing and performance teams to ensure social media and content strategies align with broader business objectives.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions to generate new content ideas and social media strategies.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO and social media performance to drive organic traffic.
  • Coordinate with external writers, freelancers, and agencies when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a social media manager, content manager, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
  • Experience in content writing, editing, and preparing content calendars.
  • Experience managing a creative team, including assigning tasks and tracking progress.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Farsi proficiency is a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress.
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or native platform analytics).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the education sector or managing content for an international audience.
  • Knowledge of content marketing strategies.
  • Ability to manage external writers and agencies.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign optimization.
