Job Description

  • Create the company’s supply chain strategy
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
  • Plan distribution operation projects and region activities and sets objectives for the employees to meet.
  • Oversee product storage, handling, and distribution.
  • Demand and supply planning from the primary supply chain to customers/stores.
  • Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries.
  • Manage distribution centers' costs and prepare new proposals for approval.
  • Suggest and create new distribution strategies or roles.
  • Identify optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
  • Create distribution Supply schedules and routes to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
  • Assess the need for material-handling equipment and staffing and make recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
  • Ensure day-to-day warehouse operations run smoothly, including providing and organizing warehouse space, Supply scheduling labor, managing inventory, and fulfilling orders.
  • Manage distribution assets such as refrigerators, fleets, warehouses distribution centers, and offices.
  • Leverage and implement effective information systems and software to enable strong forecasting and tracking of goods from origin to delivery, managing stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, vehicle routes, and coordinating and controlling the order cycle
  • Manage distribution waste and good return
  • Monitor customer service level and CRM reports and customer complaints related to Distribution centers.
  • Organize warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments.
  • Stock and inventory management and materials handling on the national and international level.
  • Securely update, monitor, and manage sensitive customer data including customer location, grade, status, etc.
  • Supervise implementation of worker safety and health regulations
  • Manage privately owned and rental fleets and ensure truck utilization is at an optimum level of quality and costs.
  • Address logistical problems and furnish solutions to these issues.
  • Periodic visits to the branches for close inspection and continuously check the status of distribution centers equipment and take action to resolve problems.
  • Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and documentation of operations
  • Ensure that effective logistics automation processes and warehouse/inventory management systems are established and used by the team.
  • In charge of keeping track and updating inventory, analyzing operational performance, and resolving issues that arise along the way with vendors or suppliers if necessary to ensure quality standards stay high throughout each operation, including shipping in a cost-effective way.
  • Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g., use of trucks, and forklifts)
  • Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
  • Lead and direct S&OP meetings
