Job Description

The human resource generalist will run the daily functions of the human resource department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. HR generalists are known to be subject matter experts on HR programs, processes, and tools. They act as the frontline consultant to the business, working with managers to create a positive employee experience and offering the best HR advice on people matters. They operate and are subject matter experts, having deep knowledge of company and local programs, processes, and policies; and offer strong, credible, and compelling advice to business leaders on how to manage their team. They are dedicated to collaboration with HR business partners aligned with various businesses. Successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.

Requirements

  • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; high-quality document and report preparation.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of both business and HR teams.
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare analytical reports, and work with related graphs.
