The learning and development manager is responsible for creating and implementing training programs and development projects. Identifying training and development needs within Hyperstar Retail; based on the needs of the organization and the individual. In addition, he/she is responsible for contributing to the building of high-performance workforce capabilities to adapt to constant change through data-driven insights. The role holder is also responsible for supporting the implementation of new initiatives that contribute to the optimum organization design, workforce, and talent archetypes.
Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills in the direct line of work.
Apply and follow Hyperstar Human Capital corporate policies and relevant procedures and instructions.
Provide the Senior Management team with required reports related to training and development projects.
Plan, develop, and provide development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods
Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
Plan, develop, and provide training programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops.
Proposes the yearly training department budget and ensures the respect of the approved budget
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, or a relevant field.
At least 3 years of managerial experience in human capital.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Able to lead the entire range of problem-solving work from problem definition to analysis, recommendation, and the development of implementation plans.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure, balance conflicting demands, and meet tight deadlines.
English proficiency (full professional proficiency is required).
