Production Manager

Job Description

As a production manager, you are in charge of our production plant to ensure that all production-related processes are running according to the defined framework.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire production process and ensure efficient operations.
• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and projects.
• Manage and lead production teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with quality and maintenance to optimize production processes and improve product quality.
• Coordinate production activities with planning and sales to guarantee an efficient usage of our resources.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
• Production process owner in external audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Technical/engineering background.
• 10 years of experience; 3 to 5 years of production management experience in preferably plastics industry.
• Thorough understanding of health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English is a must
• Computer literate (Excel, SPC database, Word).
