Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Oversee testing and inspection of pharmaceutical products.
  • Analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Train and manage the quality control team.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
  • Evaluate new testing methods and equipment for improving quality control processes.
  • Supervise physicochemical, and microbial laboratories and IPQC.
  • Cooperate in identifying the risks and opportunities of the organization's processes and trying to control them.
  • Develop, implement, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary and verify employees' adequate training for their roles.
  • Cooperate with the engineering department in developing the product or service quality plan, including purchase information, control characteristics, product testing and inspection methods, packaging plan, etc.
  • Respond to internal and external inspectors.
  • Analyze reports and data related to the quality of products and services and make decisions to improve the situation.
  • Cooperate with the QA department in CAPA processes related to, in order to eliminate actual and potential non-conformities.
  • Prepare and announce the list of equipment needed to perform the tests,
  • Communicate and report to stakeholders regarding product or service quality issues.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Pharmacy.
  • Proven experience in quality control within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Experience in managing a team.
