About the department:

The sales department of Novo Nordisk Iran is in charge of promoting and selling our products to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, hospitals, and other public institutions. Our activities include developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying potential customers, managing existing customer relationships, and conducting sales operations and administration. We work collaboratively to achieve our goals and drive success in our designated territories.

The position:

This role involves developing and executing a district sales plan, coaching and driving the sales team, forecasting budgets, and fostering customer relationships. The position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders like the marketing and brand teams to implement effective sales strategies, achieve commercial goals, and ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards. Among the main responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales plans: Create and execute territory sales plans in alignment with the overall marketing strategy to achieve sales targets.
  • Team management and development: Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team, ensuring their continuous development, performance tracking, and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Sales performance monitoring: Monitor and report on sales performance, and commercial effectiveness KPIs, and ensure that action plans are implemented effectively.
  • Customer relationship management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, including key opinion leaders (KOLs), to enhance customer engagement and drive sales.
  • Budget forecasting and reporting: Prepare accurate sales and budget forecasts, compile market reports, and ensure the timely and accurate documentation of sales activities and sample management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 2 years of sales management experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • People management skills.
  • Strong English proficiency in both oral and written.
