Job Description

Main Tasks:

  • Ensure equipment runs as designed and meets standards for nominal speed, etc., to maximize equipment capacity.
  • Drive equipment reliability through implementing maintenance foundations in TPM.
  • Build cooperation and collaboration with the production and other cross-functional teams to build world world-class operation.
  • Improve maintenance cost structure by improving technical skill sets and optimizing 3rd party spend.
  • Ensure full compliance with all governing bodies for utility systems relevant to the factory.
  • Maintain reliability through implementing maintenance foundations.
  • Develop and maintain all skill sets necessary for internal management of utility systems.
  • Drive world-class water management in the factory.
  • Drive reliability in all electrical components in the factory.
  • Develop and drive an automation plan for the factory.
  • Ensure full compliance with standards, including calibration.
  • Develop technical skills in maintenance to ensure electrical reliability.
  • Live leadership principles in all aspects of the role.
  • Set the technical strategic vision for the factory, leveraging other functional leaders and cascading objectives to all leaders in the engineering department, within factory cost targets.
  • Develop and maintain technical competencies at the factory, including detailed action plans, accountability for progress, talent review, career, and succession planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, or Process.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in a technical field, preferably in a food and beverage manufacturing facility, including maintenance leadership; at least 5 to 7 years of leadership/management experience required.
  • Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety, and hygienic engineering.
  • Strong technical and managerial skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of food processing plants and technology.
  • Maintenance technologies.

  • Analytical skills in problem solving.
  • Communication and networking.
  • Understanding financial analysis and relevant business drivers.
  • Asset and Maintenance Management (AMM).
