POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Tech Lead – RetailTech to own the technical architecture, scalability strategy, and engineering execution of retail-focused digital platforms.
This role requires systems-level thinking across commerce flows, inventory management, point-of-sale integration, omnichannel experiences, and operational data systems. You will align engineering decisions with retail performance, operational efficiency, and long-term growth objectives.
This role supports a hybrid working model, designed to enable deep focus and high-quality execution while maintaining strong collaboration across product, operations, and engineering teams.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
• Design and own scalable architectures for retail and commerce platforms
• Lead technical decisions across transaction systems, inventory logic, and integrations
• Architect omnichannel systems connecting physical and digital retail experiences
• Collaborate closely with product, operations, and business stakeholders
• Ensure reliability, performance, and real-time synchronization across systems
• Optimize data flows supporting sales analytics and operational insights
• Identify bottlenecks in checkout flows, inventory accuracy, and fulfillment systems
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve demand forecasting, personalization, and performance optimization
SKILLS
Retail & Commerce Systems
• Strong experience building scalable retail or commerce platforms
• Understanding of inventory management, POS systems, and transaction workflows
• Experience designing omnichannel architectures
Data & Optimization
• Experience with analytics pipelines and operational data systems
• Ability to leverage AI tools for forecasting, personalization, and optimization
• Understanding of real-time data synchronization and reporting
Scalability & Reliability
• Experience designing high-availability, transaction-heavy systems
• Strong architectural judgment for growth and peak traffic conditions
• Knowledge of system resilience in retail environments
Leadership & Execution
• Ownership of technical direction aligned with operational and revenue goals
• Ability to collaborate across product, operations, and engineering teams
• Clear communication of technical trade-offs to senior stakeholders
