POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Tech Lead – E-Commerce to own the technical architecture, scalability strategy, and engineering execution of commerce-driven digital platforms.
This role requires strong systems-level thinking across checkout flows, payment integrations, catalog systems, inventory synchronization, and high-traffic infrastructure. You will align technical decisions with revenue growth, conversion optimization, and long-term platform stability.
This role supports a hybrid working model, designed to enable deep focus and high-quality execution while maintaining strong collaboration across product, operations, and engineering teams.
A DAY IN THE LIFE …
• Design and own scalable architectures for e-commerce platforms
• Lead technical decisions across checkout systems, cart logic, and payment integrations
• Architect catalog, pricing, and inventory management systems
• Collaborate closely with product and business teams to optimize conversion flows
• Ensure high availability during peak traffic and campaign spikes
• Review and guide implementation across backend, frontend, and data systems
• Identify bottlenecks affecting performance, conversion, or operational accuracy
• Use AI-assisted tools to enhance personalization, recommendation engines, and performance optimization
SKILLS
Commerce Architecture
• Strong experience building scalable, transaction-heavy commerce platforms
• Deep understanding of checkout systems, payment gateways, and pricing logic
• Experience designing catalog and inventory synchronization systems
Scalability & Reliability
• Expertise in high-concurrency and high-availability systems
• Strong architectural judgment under peak load and revenue-critical conditions
• Experience designing resilient distributed systems
Data & Optimization
• Experience with analytics, recommendation systems, and A/B testing
• Ability to leverage AI tools for personalization and conversion optimization
• Understanding of conversion funnels and performance metrics
Leadership & Execution
• Ownership of technical direction aligned with revenue and growth objectives
• Ability to align engineering execution with product and business priorities
• Clear communication of technical trade-offs to senior stakeholders
