Job Description

  • Create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development programs for employees.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors, and customer representatives.
  • Develop unique training programs to fulfill managers' specific needs to maintain or improve skills.
  • Create and/or acquire training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
  • Present training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussions, lectures, simulations, and videos.
  • Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
  • Assess training materials prepared by instructors.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
  • Prepare and implement training budget.
  • Maintain records and reports of expenses.

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Training Management, or a related field.
  • At least three years of training or learning experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage conflict.
  • Adept with a variety of learning platforms (LMS).
  • Ability to write a PDP or IDP.
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  • Ability to design and implement effective learning.
  • Familiar with training standards: ISO10015 and ISO29993.
  • Proficient in measuring the effectiveness of the training course.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office and related program software.
  • Familiar with project management concepts.
