Job Description

To lead and oversee all high-volume sales accounting processes, including revenue recognition, retail and marketplace sales, and settlements with vendors/sellers. The role ensures the accuracy, transparency, and timeliness of financial data to support reliable reporting and strategic business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the accurate and timely recording of all sales transactions (B2R, B2C, and Marketplace).
• Manage vendor/seller settlement processes and monitor related accounts.
• Review and analyze accounts receivable.
• Monitor cash flows related to sales and settlements.
• Supervise invoicing processes, sales returns, discounts, and promotional activities.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Marketplace, and Product teams to ensure data alignment and integrity.
• Design and continuously improve financial processes tailored to high transaction volumes.
• Prepare analytical reports on sales performance and revenue.
• Identify and manage financial risks within the sales and settlement cycle.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal/tax regulations.
• Lead and develop the sales accounting team to enhance performance.
• Work closely with technology teams to improve financial systems and automation.
• Monitor receivables collection and mitigate credit risk exposure.
• Review and reconcile sales and revenue contracts in alignment with the company’s structure.
• Implement and enhance financial processes in accordance with organizational policies.
Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience working in e-commerce environments.
• Ability to analyze large datasets (Big Data mindset).
• Familiarity with financial and reporting concepts.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data-driven tools/software.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.
Requirements

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience.
• 3–4 years of managerial experience.
• Familiarity with Iranian tax and insurance regulations.
