POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Tech Lead – Gaming to own the technical architecture, performance strategy, and engineering execution of gaming platforms and interactive systems.
This role requires strong systems-level thinking across real-time engines, multiplayer architectures, rendering performance, and backend infrastructure. You will align technical decisions with gameplay experience, scalability requirements, and long-term platform evolution.

This role supports a hybrid working model, designed to enable deep focus and high-quality execution while maintaining strong collaboration across product, design, and engineering teams.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

• Design and own scalable architectures for game engines and backend systems
• Lead technical decisions across real-time communication, multiplayer logic, and performance optimization
• Architect backend services supporting matchmaking, leaderboards, and player data
• Collaborate closely with game designers, product leads, and engineers
• Ensure low latency, stability, and smooth gameplay under high concurrency
• Review and guide implementation across client, server, and data systems
• Identify performance bottlenecks affecting gameplay or user engagement
• Use AI-assisted tools to optimize balancing, analytics, and player behavior insights

SKILLS

Game Systems Architecture
• Strong experience building or leading real-time or interactive systems
• Deep understanding of multiplayer architectures and synchronization logic
• Experience optimizing rendering, performance, and memory usage

Scalability & Performance
• Expertise in low-latency, high-concurrency systems
• Experience designing resilient backend infrastructure for player data
• Strong architectural judgment under peak usage conditions

Data & Engagement
• Experience with player analytics, engagement metrics, and progression systems
• Ability to leverage AI tools for gameplay optimization and behavior analysis
• Understanding of performance trade-offs between experience and infrastructure cost

Leadership & Execution
• Ownership of technical direction aligned with gameplay and product strategy
• Ability to guide multidisciplinary teams (client, server, design)
• Clear communication of technical trade-offs to senior stakeholders
